The Visual Arts Bootcamp helps passionate artists further develop their artistic talents and hone their craft. Students will study chiaroscuro and color theory, working with a variety of media such as pencil/charcoal and acrylic. The program theme will rotate between Animal Drawing (Ses. 1), Landscape (Ses. 2), and Still Life (Ses. 3). This bootcamp will culminate in a session-end art exhibit on campus.

Course Overview
- Master study of Charles Bargue
- Charles Bargue (c. 1826/1827 – April 6, 1883) was a French painter and lithographer noted for devising an influential drawing course. His drawing is beginner friendly and good for kid to learn measuring, proportion, value and other basics of drawing.

- Chiaroscuro
- Chiaroscuro, (from Italian chiaro, “light,” and scuro, “dark”), technique employed in the visual arts to represent light and shadow as they define three-dimensional objects. Start from geometry shapes such as cube and sphere. Then move on to harder things like still like or human.
- Color Theory
- Color theory, Visual guide to know how to mix color and when to use them in visual arts
- Illustration
- Illustrate a scene or person. Including knowledge of perspective, stage design, color design etc.
