The Youth Artist Summer Camp is a wonderful opportunity for campers to develop their artistic talents and explore new art forms.
Campers will spend their mornings learning formal techniques and exciting performance pieces. The remainder of the day will be dedicated to sampler classes in other arts disciplines, as well as traditional camp activities and outdoor games.

Session 2: Mon-Fri, July 1 – 19, 9:30am-4:30pm (7/4 and 7/5 off)
Session 3: Mon-Fri, July 22 – Aug 9, 9:30am-4:30pm
Camp Descriptions:
- Students spend half of their day taking classes in Ballet, Chinese Dance, and Tumbling. The remainder of the day will be dedicated to classes in art and outdoor camp activities. Last year, campers took ballet technique classes and learned choreography from Swan Lake. They learned Chinese folk dances such as the Mongolian horse riding dance and Xinjiang tambourine dance. Students practiced cartwheels and walkovers, created earrings and stick sculptures, sang songs from The Greatest Showman, and more.
Age & Eligibility:
Group 1 – Ages 6-8, all levels of experience.
Group 2 – age 9-11 all levels, or with 0-2 years of formal dance training.
*Students ages 9-11 with several years of formal dance experience may consider auditioning for the Junior Dance Intensive.
